A two part piece made for March 2021 issue of Coffee People Zine in collaboration with Trans and Caffeinated for a TDOV feature for trans and GNC artists.
The prompt for this month was "Bloom," which both refers to the return of flora in the spring and the release of carbon dioxide from ground beans in pour over coffee. My take on the prompt was to illustrate me before coming to terms with my non-binary identity and where I am now in my journey of self-discovery; a bud vs. a fully bloomed flower.
